What do STEMNET contract holders offer volunteers?
Scientists, engineers and professionals in technology and mathematics related careers, as well as students and researchers in STEM related fields can apply to become STEM Ambassadors. Joining the STEM Ambassadors programme can help you work towards CPD and chartered status, looks great on your CV and helps you network and meet other STEM professionals.

How can organisations get involved with the STEM Advisory Network?
If your organisation would like to get involved in STEM outreach in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland, Newcastle College (STEM Advisory Network and STEM Ambassadors contract holder) can help. From arranging CRBs that enable your employees to work in schools to providing you with advice and guidance on what activities, workshops and demonstrations schools found worked best for them.
If you already provide outreach enhancement and enrichment activities in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland we want to hear from you as well. Together we can coordinate our efforts, share good practice and help broker your services to the region's schools.
