Pharmaceutical cleaning. I was employed in the biopharmaceutical industry for 20yrs in the field of plasmid DNA and protein purification. My degree is in Applied Biology and I have an HNC in medical microbiology
How did you decide to work in your chosen field?
I have always had an interest in science so it was natural for me to become involved in what I enjoyed doing. I also have a very inquisitive mind.
Educational Path
At school for A levels Geography, English and Biology. HNC in medical laboratory science. First degree Applied Biology. Currently studying for an Engineering doctorate
What attracted you to the STEM Ambassadors scheme?
IT is good to get tohers interested in science and I enjoy it.
What do you like about being a STEM Ambassador?
I like the feedback from the students when they enjoy something you are doing.
What do you see as the benefits of the STEM Ambassadors scheme?
Further publicing science in schools and making it more accessable for everyone
