STEM Teacher Network Meeting

Attention teachers! There will be a second STEM Teacher Network Meeting at Moorbank Botanic Garden, Newcastle University on the 5th July. This will take place between 16.30 and 18.30 with complimentary refreshments and snacks served from 16.00.

The meetings provide a good opportunity to meet University staff and discuss accessing University resources and facilities, transition to HE and CPD for teachers. In addition you will be updated on progress since the first meeting in January and how the university are implementing the suggestions put forward. They will also present some new activities and projects and hope to solicit your views on these.

They will also be offering guided tours of Moorbank Botanic Garden and an opportunity to meet their education officer. The team at Moorbank is currently revising their education programme and are keen to hear your views on what schools and colleges would like to see made available.

This event is open to all teachers and advisors in the STEM discipline, including those who have not previously attended. If you wish to attend, please complete the online registration form by Friday 22nd June and you will receive an email confirming your place.
