Primary Schools CREST Star Investigators
Star Award
The Star Award pack, aimed at 5 to 7 year olds, encourages children to discuss, share experiences and solve problems. Children complete at least 8 out of 12 activities to receive an award and badge. The activities should take about 8 weeks to work through.
Once students have completed the activities you can download a CREST Star registration form to receive their awards
SuperStar Award
For the SuperStar Award children, aged 7 to 11, work independently to complete at least 12 of a possible 15 activities. They are encouraged to discuss ideas and how to test them and decide how to share results. It should take around 12 weeks to complete the pack and receive their award and badge.

MegaStar Award
MegaStar students, between 8 and 12 years old, now work on a series of projects instead of individual activities. Each project provides activities based on a theme and students will need to complete 3 projects to receive their award. Students will learn to research and think about problems, make decisions about procedures and learn to interpret and display results as well as organising their work and communicating their ideas. Each project will take around 5 hours to complete.
